Empowering Entrepreneurs

About NASE Africa

Transforming Africa's entrepreneurial landscape through research-informed education and ecosystem development

Our Story

Formerly the National Association of Student Enterprises, NASE Africa emerged in 2015 with a bold vision: to tackle youth unemployment through upstream entrepreneurship interventions. Founded with support from Kingston University London, we've evolved into Uganda's leading social enterprise for entrepreneurship education and ecosystem development across Uganda and beyond.

Our Impact Philosophy

"We back the jockey, not the horse" – investing in entrepreneurial talent at the earliest, riskiest stages of their journey.

Our Approach

Research-informed practice meets real-world application

Our work bridges the gap between academic theory and entrepreneurial success through:

  • Evidence-based curriculum design
  • Digital-first pedagogical approaches
  • Context-sensitive teaching methodologies
  • Strong industry-academia partnerships
Vision

Leveraging innovation and entrepreneurship for sustainable socio-economic transformation across Africa.

Mission

Inspiring, equipping, and empowering Africa's youth to develop sustainable businesses and become catalysts for inclusive development.
